Tiipo Studio was born May l 2026 from a passion for curating art through a thematic and temporal lens. We explore the connections between different forms of storytelling, from literature, cinema, and visual art to short films, animation, fleeting video clips, and spoken narratives.

Tiipo is named after its two founders, both named İpek. The double "i" reflects this shared identity, while tipo references both the studio's home in Milan and the Italian word for "type."

The name ables us to adopt with every issue, becoming Tipo Listening, Tipo Ludic, or any new theme we explore.

Despite their different mediums, these expressions share a common foundation: nature. Our first issue, centered on the act of listening, invites readers to return to this origin. It explores how understanding begins with observation, evolves through imitation, and ultimately leads to the realization that everything is interconnected.
